A/B Testing Idea #308 - After small changes, allow users to undo the move rather than to continuously confirm

Tactic_After small changes, allow users to undo the move rather than to continuously confirm

Description

Rather than asking your customers to confirm changes they make by clicking on "yes" or "no", offer them the possibility to undo what they've already done. Although slight, the difference will allow users to return to a previous setting or "safe" space after having made a change rather than simply asking them to confirm a change they are about to make. This will mean that the user always has the opportunity to undo any decisions and to avoid making mistakes, resulting in a more satisfactory user experience.

The Research

Choice Closure

Choice Closure is a concept that describes how being able to complete a physical act of closure after making a choice helps the decision-maker to be much more satisfied with their choice.
