A/B Testing Idea #175 - Delete up to 10% of features but maintain previous, identical pricing
Description
People are unlikely to notice changes as long as these are kept below 10% so you are able to reduce the content and features offered in your pricing plans by 5 to 10% without many visitors noticing that the plan is different. Therefore you can sell a product with less features for the same price and so increase your margin on each sale.
Principles
- Weber's Law (Weber, 1834; Fechner, 1860)
The Research
Weber's Law
Weber’s Law quantifies the perception of change in a given stimulus: it states that the just-noticeable difference of a change is directly proportional to the status of the original stimulus.
